DevSecOps Engineer II - Salesforce

Job Summary:

The Salesforce DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline, aging CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Salesforce applications. This role requires a strong background in Salesforce development, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated security practices for Salesforce applications
• Automate deployment processes and integrate various development and testing tools.
• Monitor and manage Salesforce environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and other stakeholders to streamline development workflows.
• Maintain and improve version control practices, ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment and environment configurations.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in all DevOps activities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce development and administration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, JavaScript) for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified DevOps Specialist, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer).
• Experience with Salesforce DX and other Salesforce development tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Understanding of network and security principles related to cloud and Salesforce environments.
• Experience with Gearset, Copado, or AutoRABIT salesforce CICD tool is a plus
