Engineering Manager

Ohpen is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join team in Slovakia.In this role, you’ll oversee three back-office engineering teams across Slovakia, India, and Poland. You’ll bring your technical expertise and leadership skills to manage processes, set up efficient workflows, and take on the unique challenges of a growing company.

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our teams, setting up meetings, and fostering cooperation between our international teams.

Your role will involve making key decisions, supporting the Director of Engineering, and leveraging your software engineering experience to guide our projects.


Hiring process is straightforward and includes a recruitment interview, a meeting with the hiring manager, a case study, and a case study presentation, leading to an offer if you impress us and more importantly, we also impress you.

• You have substantial experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with a proven track record in a similar role.
• You possess strong technical skills and can effectively bridge the gap between management and technical execution.
• You excel in setting up processes and managing the dynamics of teams across different locations.
• You are a visionary leader with innovative ideas and the ability to make decisive, impactful decisions.
