What you will be doing

  • Design architecture of our proprietary solution for engaging video streams - think event scheduler, process manager, communication through gRPC and/or event bus
  • Develop backend for our landing page, with interactive gammification features
  • Work with machines in our data centre, as well as cloud platform on AWS
  • Solve complex problems related to highly configurable applications, high user traffic, caching, and availability
  • Be part of a collaborative, cross-domain autonomous product team delivering end-to-end functionality in a fast-paced startup environment, closely cooperating with other Kotlin developers, as well as AI specialists.
  • Share knowledge and support teammates (e.g., through code reviews)

Skills you need

  • 5+ years of experience with Kotlin, or 1+ year in Kotlin and the rest in Java
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and distributed systems design
  • Awareness of modern technologies for content-based applications, with a pragmatic approach to choosing tools
  • Familiarity with API design using GraphQL or gRPC
  • Experience deploying code on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes (a plus)
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Interest in esports (a plus!)
