Internship: Software Test Engineer - JavaCard Applications (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a working student to support our Applets team part-time in parallel to their studies. In this role you will support a team that develops leading edge solutions for phone, banking, access and identity applications. Our customers include most of the major high street brands and our projects include interesting new applications.

Your responsibilities:

• Test development, in particular JavaCard applets

• Automation and laboratory management

• Test tool development

• Test execution and reporting

• Responsibilities can grow based on dedication and skills

Your profile:

• Ongoing studies in Computer Engineering/Informatics/Security/Telematics/ Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent

• Experience with Java and/or scripting languages

• Experience in test automation (eg. Jenkins) is an advantage

• Independent working style and motivation to learn

• Team player

• Good communication skills

• Solid English skills (conversation and writing)

• Availability of at least 16 hours/week (on average), duration over 6 months

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800,- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
