What impact will you have?
- You will make sure software updates are user-ready by creating automated processes
What will you be responsible for?
- Design automated testing approaches in collaboration with peripheral teams (Product, Architecture, Development, DevOps, etc.)
- Partner with stakeholders to plan, estimate, and implement test automation strategies
- Ensure compliance, standards, and best practices to automation framework and overall architecture/principles
- Maintain/enhance test automation frameworks
- Design/develop integration, regression and performance tests and test cases/suites (manual/automated)
Who will be successful in this role?
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineer in Test
- Strong experience with “grey box” and “white box” testing
- Hands-on experience with coding in Javascript
- Must have strong knowledge of testing RESTful API (experience with testing gRPC is preferred)
- Ability to work with API tools such as Postman, curl, PAW, Swagger, RAML or similar
- Working knowledge of Selenium or Cypress framework
- Ability to compile application with Android Studio or Xcode
- Professional knowledge of MySQL Workbench (MySQL DB), Sequel Pro (MySQL DB), Robo 3T (MongoDB), pgAdmin (PostgresDB) or any similar tools that interact with databases
- Experience working with proxy tools such as Charles, Fiddler, WireShark, or similar
- Knowledge of Git
- Understanding of Android Debug Bridge commands
- Ability to setup a working environment for web/mobile testing
- Experience creating models (i.e. data flow, control flow, state transitions, etc.) to describe different aspects of application/system behavior
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub actions)
- Experience with Test Management Systems (i.e. X-Ray, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar)
- Strong experience optimizing complex test code/review code from team members
- Familiarity creating hybrid e2e automated tests using UP & API
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and implement accordingly
- Resourceful, self-starter
