We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Software Technical Program Manager to lead our efforts in developing advanced compute software solutions. Our work has made major impact in various fields, and is used across leading academic institutions, start-ups, and industry. What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with Software Development Managers, Engineers, Product Marketing, Customer Program Management, Quality Assurance, and other logistics personnel to implement streamlined processes for the development of advanced Compute software solutions for cloud service providers and OEM customers.

  • Orchestrate status meetings, proactively addressing customer challenges and concerns, while serving as the central point of contact for building and upholding release schedules and prioritized release plans of record.

  • Partnering across teams to strategically drive software objectives by collecting requirements, defining priorities, and planning/scheduling for all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Developing and maintaining schedules, proactively identifying risks and formulating risk management strategies for multiple parallel work streams.

  • Taking lead improving existing product development and software release processes, while collaborating with engineering management to optimize the development workflow for maximum engineering efficiency working across diverse technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.

  • Internally translating customer requirements into actionable achievements and tasks, ensuring customers are continually informed about issue statuses.

  • Collaborating with various internal teams and third-party partners across different time zones, as necessary, to resolve customer issues and oversee customer releases.

  • Working closely with customer Program Managers on software issues, including technical feedback from OEMs, CSPs, and partners, as well as, continuous improvement and maintenance of all processes related to enterprise support.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years proven experience in a similar or related role.

  • Hands on experience with software development for hardware platforms. Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies

  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex products to customers

  • Ability to work independently and actively with minimal guidance.

  • Proven experience to creatively resolve technical and resource issues. Ability to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to ensure program success

  • Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, including experience with widely-adopted configuration management tools and productivity-enhancing tools and automation processes.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated capacity for multitasking, in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.

  • Strong communication and technical presentation skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Expertise with Agile SW Development tools. Solid understanding of operating systems, datacenter servers, graphics principles and standards.

  • Previous experience coordinating activities between HW and SW organizations. Knowledge of a modern programming language is desired.

  • MBA/PMP Certification/training is a plus.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
