Senior Cloud Software Engineer, Developer Tools

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and improve AI Developer Tools connected through web APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and Agents. Apply your expertise with delivering user-focused cloud products that enable both rapid prototyping and the next generation of highly automated AI assisted CUDA development, from coding to profiling and performance fine-tuning.

In this role, you will architect cloud solutions that leverage NVIDIA microservices and frameworks as well as ground-breaking AI applications and research to integrate deeply with developers’ work flows, accelerate the full product lifecycle of plan, code, test, debug, profile and fine-tuning.

What you'll be doing:

• Work closely with our Product and Design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of AI assisted coding and profiling services and skills.

• Architect, design and develop high-performance, and responsive SaaS that improves developers’ workflows with AI, supporting a large number of concurrent developers with high scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.

• Work with other engineering teams to align on corporate infrastructure strategies and help to improve or enhance existing services.

• Mentor engineers and review code and design.

What we need to see:

• B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science with 8 years of industry experience.

• Experience in large-scale user-facing application development using web/cloud services.

• Familiar with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, AWS.

• Experience with DevOps including CI/CD, monitoring and alerts.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners.

• Familiar with either Linux virtualization to run isolated GPU workloads in the cloud or GPU profiling, benchmark performance in a consistent and repeatable way.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience writing CUDA code and optimizing CUDA kernels.

• Experience with Kata Container or any other VM-based container runtime.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.Applications for this job will be accepted at least until September 5, 2026.
