Director, DOCA DevOps and Integration

Location: Israel, Yokneam

Time Type: Full time

Job Description

NVIDIA's DOCA organization is scaling rapidly, and operational excellence across our development toolchain is critical to our success. We are seeking an experienced Director to lead the teams and initiatives that power our engineering engine — spanning DevOps infrastructure, software integration, AI-assisted development tools, and the end-to-end BlueField user experience.

In this role, you will directly manage the DevOps and Integration teams while driving the adoption and expansion of AI productivity tools across DOCA engineering. You will also own the BlueField user experience — from out-of-box installation and provisioning through field deployments — ensuring that developers, partners, and data center operators can get productive with our platform from day one.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and grow the DOCA DevOps team: CI/CD pipelines, lab infrastructure, build systems, release automation, and developer tooling.
  • Own the DOCA Integration team: multi-component integration workflows, cross-team handoffs, validation gates, and release readiness for the DOCA/BF software stack.
  • Drive AI tools strategy across DOCA R&D — evaluating, adopting, and operationalizing AI-assisted coding, testing, documentation, and review tools to accelerate engineering productivity.
  • Own the end-to-end BlueField user experience: out-of-box installation, provisioning, firmware/software lifecycle, documentation quality, and deployment workflows for DPU customers and internal teams.
  • Define and track benchmarks for DevOps maturity, integration stability, AI tool adoption, and BlueField UX quality across release cycles.
  • Mentor team leads and senior engineers build career paths and scale the function to meet DOCA's growing portfolio.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a combination of practical experience equivalent to these degrees.
  • 12+ overall years of professional experience in software engineering organizations, with deep exposure to DevOps, integration, or infrastructure software.
  • Minimum 6+ years managing R&D engineering teams, including direct management of team leads or senior engineers.
  • Strong hands-on technical background: Linux environments, CI/CD systems, build automation, container/virtualization infrastructure, and system-level software.
  • Proven track record improving complex integration pipelines, release readiness processes, and developer productivity workflows.
  • Experience evaluating and rolling out AI/ML-based developer tools (e.g., code generation, automated testing, documentation assistants) in engineering organizations.
  • Excellent communication and multi-functional leadership — able to align engineering leaders and turn ambiguous operational or usability problems into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Direct familiarity with DOCA, BlueField DPUs, SmartNICs, or data center infrastructure software.
  • Experience improving out-of-the-box product experience, provisioning workflows, or customer-facing deployment documentation for complex hardware/software platforms.
  • Background leading DevOps or platform engineering at scale in a large R&D organization shipping system-level software.
  • Track record of adopting AI coding assistants, automated PR review, or AI-based QA tools in a real production engineering context.
