C++ and C Linux Software Developer Student

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated Student Software Engineer to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to work on innovative networking acceleration solutions that are transforming a variety of markets. You will be part of a dynamic and Agile environment, contributing to products that are widely deployed and constantly evolving.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with the team members to design and develop high-performance networking solutions leveraging NVIDIA's advanced networking cards hardware.

• Engage in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, including application level development and hardware access.

• Contribute to the development of user space TCP/IP stacks that bypass the kernel, optimizing for performance on NVIDIA's networking hardware.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to invent and implement creative ways to enhance performance and scalability.

• Assist in delivering high-quality, large-scale software releases.

• Interact with customers and partners to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into development.

• Work alongside multiple teams within a multifunctional environment to develop new features and improvements.

What We Need To See:

• Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.

• Familiarity with software development in C/C++ within Linux  environments.

• Basic understanding of networking protocols and computer infrastructure.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and demonstrate agility.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

• A strong passion for technology, particularly in system programming and networking.

• Hands-on experience with development tools in Linux, such as  Autotools, CMake, and Meson.

• Proficiency in Git, with experience in GitHub/GitLab development workflows.

• Familiarity with documentation tools like Sphinx, Breathe, and Doxygen.
