Proposed Role: Lead R&D Engineer

Total Exp: 10 ~ 15 Yrs

Job Description:

1. Design and develop scalable, modular, and optimized Test Automation Architectures tailored for embedded systems in industrial cooling and power distribution domains.

2. Define automation standards, patterns, reusable test components, and framework guidelines.

3. Lead end‑to‑end design of automated test suites

4. nsure comprehensive test coverage across integration, system, regression, and environmental testing.

5. Define and monitor quality KPIs including: Defect detection efficiency, Automation execution coverage, Protocol timing/throughput metrics, Framework reliability and maintainability

6. Continuously optimize execution time, test reliability, and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites.

7. Lead by example in complex test strategy decisions and in developing technically challenging automation workflows.

8. Drive the team toward achieving an accelerated Automation Roadmap with measurable milestones.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

10-15 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing, including hands-on automation.

Strong expertise in:

Python (advanced scripting and framework development), Robot Framework, Selenium for Web UI automation.

Deep understanding of:

BSP, bootloaders, kernel-level behavior

Low-level firmware/driver interactions

Embedded protocols (Modbus, CAN, RS485, etc.)

Experience with hardware tools & debugging instruments.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Leadership Skills

Ability to drive technical strategy and automation engineering vision.

Strong mentoring and team development capabilities.

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.

ISTQB Certification (optional but beneficial).

Working knowledge of C/C++ for firmware comprehension.
