Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Collaborate frequently with international teams.
- Provide technical engineering support across end-users, Sales, Product Management, Customer Care, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, and Compliance.
- Serve as subject-matter expert for nVent LENTON products and applications; support customer product selection and installation.
- Lead new product development from concept through launch.
- Support Operations with nonconformance resolution and product testing.
- Plan and complete destructive and non-destructive testing (FMEA, mechanical, microscopy) to validate performance (25% lab work).
- Develop and validate rebar connection methods (thread, swage, grout, CADWELD, friction/arc weld).
- Support design and improvement of nVent LENTON field equipment for threading, welding, swaging, and tensile testing.
- Build and review training content (videos, guides, LMS) for installation, operation, and fixing issues.
- Represent nVent on industry codes and standards committees; provide market intelligence and support VOC/customer visits.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Advanced English
- Ideally, experience in reinforced concrete a plus.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, with emphasis on application sales and support
- Up to 30% of travel to customers and nVent sites.
- Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented, self-directed environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/PLM systems, and SolidWorks CAD
- Strong technical capability, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in delivering technical presentations (in-person, webinar, teleconference) to diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication for user documentation and customer interaction
- Highly motivated, independent, and organized
