Your Role at Nutrient…

As an AI Developer, you will focus on designing and implementing AI-powered systems and integrating them into our products to enhance functionality and user experience. Your technical expertise will drive the development of innovative solutions that streamline and improve document workflows. Your primary responsibilities will center on software engineering and AI development to create efficient, scalable, and reliable integrations.

What You’ll Work On…

• Design and Build AI Systems: Develop AI-powered solutions ranging from chat interfaces to agentic workflows for document editing and understanding, emphasizing scalability and reliability.
• Integrate AI Functionality: Collaborate with product managers, engineering, and design teams to integrate AI features into existing SDKs and tools, ensuring superior functionality and an optimal user experience.
• Focus on Systems Design: Architect systems that enable simple AI integrations, ensuring the components are modular, maintainable, and efficient.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor and enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of AI features, applying best practices for code optimization and resource management.
• Stay Current with Technology: Keep up with the latest developments in AI and software engineering to ensure our solutions remain competitive and cutting-edge.

What You’ll Bring…

As an ideal candidate, you are a skilled developer passionate about creating impactful AI integrations that enhance product value. You should have a strong foundation in software engineering and a willingness to explore new AI technologies. Additionally, you have experience in backend services and distributed systems

• Have Experience with AI Integration: You have successfully implemented AI features into applications or systems, focusing on delivering robust and user-friendly solutions using frameworks such as Langchain, CrewAI, LlamaIndex.
• Are Skilled in Systems Design: You excel in designing and implementing systems that support scalable and maintainable AI solutions, with experience in database and model selection through evaluation.
• Possess Strong Software Engineering Fundamentals: You are confident in switching between multiple programming languages (we often use Typescript, C++, Elixir, Python and more), well versed in version control, and software development best practices.
• Are Familiar with Machine Learning Concepts: While not mandatory, knowledge of machine learning techniques such as computer vision, NLP, model training, transfer learning, and optimization techniques can help you better understand and contribute to the future of Nutrients AI-powered solutions.
• Are Collaborative and Detail-Oriented: You work well with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment to deliver high-quality outcomes. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a professional remote environment in the past.
• Have an Eagerness to Learn: You're passionate about staying at the forefront of the industry, constantly exploring new technologies and trends through experimentation.
