YOUR TEAM
We build a data platform and a suite of UI applications used by payers and healthcare providers to improve patient care and reduce costs through the operation of value-based programs. The program team is responsible for the logic of our customer’s value-based programs and exposing results and operational data via an application suite (existing) and data warehouse (future). Your team will consist of a cross-functional group of analysts and software developers.
You will be responsible for the people and technology within your area. Nuna is in the process of evolving our data platform and applications to support the next phase of customer success.. You’ll guide your team through the evolution of technology and development practices to support a new teaming model focused on end-to-end ownership of data and experience. You will help the team rally around the future vision, coordinate the execution toward it, and drive new and improved processes in order to scale the business at Nuna.
YOUR OPPORTUNITIES
- Lead a team of builders to help rationalize the architecture of an existing data pipeline and application, preparing it to take on new business
- Lead the charge in continued growth in operational excellence and maturity
- Lead the implementation of processes for optimal SDLC of data pipelines to help ensure stability, repeatability, and quality
- Work closely with engineers and peers to understand progress, drive execution, understand needs, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
- Take ownership for a piece of Nuna’s overall engineering processes and drive excellence across all of engineering
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Technical Leadership and Interpersonal skills to motivate engineers and cross functional teams in a startup environment
- 3+ years of experience as a people manager
- Excellent communication and listening skills, you break down problems and generate shared understanding across technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong technical skills in either platform or application development
- Prior experience as senior technical contributor (Staff Engineer / Architect / Tech Lead)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a startup / tech company
- Background in healthcare data
We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $180,000 to $240,000. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
