NTT DATA Thailand is hiring a Senior Hybrid Data Centre Presale Engineer to design and win hybrid infrastructure deals across on-premises data centres and public cloud. You will pair with the Client Manager, who owns the customer relationship, and the Hybrid DC Sales Specialist, who owns the opportunity and commercial plan, to turn customer needs into solutions we can win and deliver.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers to understand workloads, constraints, and business goals for data centre modernisation and hybrid cloud.
• Design hybrid data centre solutions covering compute, storage, hyperconverged infrastructure, virtualisation, data centre networking, backup and disaster recovery, and connectivity to public cloud.
• Size, price, and document solutions with the Hybrid DC Sales Specialist, including bills of materials, architecture diagrams, and statements of work.
• Run proof-of-concept sessions, demos, and workshops, and present technical proposals to customer IT leaders and executives.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs with accurate, compliant technical responses, working to bid deadlines.
• Prepare account and opportunity plans with the Client Manager, and bring technical insight into customer roadmaps and renewal conversations.
• Assess migration and modernisation options, such as rehost, replatform, and VM-to-cloud moves, and hand over a clear design to the delivery team.
• Work with vendors and partners on solution fit, technical enablement, and deal support.
• Coach junior presales engineers and contribute reusable assets such as reference architectures, solution templates, and win/loss lessons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in presales, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Hands-on knowledge of data centre infrastructure: servers, storage, virtualisation or hyperconverged platforms (for example VMware, Nutanix, or Red Hat), and data centre networking.
• Working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) and of hybrid models such as on-premises extensions, cloud connectivity, and workload migration.
• Solid grounding in backup, disaster recovery, and high availability design.
• Proven record of solution sizing, proposal writing, and responding to RFPs for enterprise customers.
• Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, in English and Thai.
• Willingness to work with multiple stakeholders and to travel to customer sites as needed.
