NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Technical Lead, Software Engineer to work with our global client in Boston, MA, or Orange, CT. This role will require presence at our client site 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Join an exciting project supporting our global Utility client in innovating and improving their online portals to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Own, oversee, and drive technical solutions design based on business requirements.
• Hands-on technical leadership of software engineers focused on software architecture, design, development, and delivery.
• Act as liaison between the customer community and the software development team.
• Evaluate the information from multiple sources to develop an understanding of the client’s business requests and needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Define high-level application platform architectural guidelines and articulate reasoning and trade-offs for choices to business owners.
• Displays outward thinking, develops strategies for the entire software development life cycle of new and emerging technologies and demonstrates the viability.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, designing and building technical solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in Rest Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of designing architectural solutions.
• Proven experience guiding development teams based on technology best practices.
• Knowledge of application development lifecycle, microservices architecture best practices, and DevOps foundations.
• Experience with JSON, XML, Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.), Maven, GIT, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Possesses motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have:

• TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture certification
• WAF (Well-Architected Framework Certification)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
