NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Project Manager to work with our global client in the U.S. for an onsite opportunity in Rochester, NY.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to coordinate and oversee a variety of IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. This role involves gathering requirements, defining approaches, managing risks, and providing innovative solutions while maintaining strong communication with upper management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the successful execution of multiple IT infrastructure projects.
2. Gather requirements from business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational needs.
3. Collaborate with the technical team to create detailed technical specification documents.
4. Define project approaches and strategies with technical input.
5. Develop comprehensive project and procurement plans.
6. Coordinate activities across diverse implementation teams and vendors.
7. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks effectively.
8. Monitor project execution and generate detailed progress reports for stakeholders.
9. Address challenges and provide timely solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
10. Conduct regular follow-up meetings with upper management to ensure alignment and progress tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Technical Expertise:
• Advanced knowledge of Kanban methodology, JIRA platform, and MS Project.
• Solid experience in IT infrastructure and workplace projects, including:
• Cloud technologies (critical for part of cloud migration initiatives).
• Distributed systems.
• End-user platforms.
• Networking and communications.
• Smart operations.
2. Experience:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure or workplace projects.
3. Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong documentation abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively manage interactions among diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a results-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in managing cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level IT environments.
