NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Network Engineer to work with our global client in Mexico for a fully remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake an assessment of the client DC infrastructure. Client best practices will be used as a reference.
- The following technologies are involved:
- Switching
- Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
- OSPF
- BGP
- Route Redistribution
- MPLS
- VRF
- VPC
- Cisco Nexus technologies
- FHRP
- Dynamic VPN
- SDWAN
- Most of the infra is comprised by Cisco networking devices.
- Documentation of network systems, Visio Drawings, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.
- Document activities in progress via weekly status reports, incident reports, logs, etc.
Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Proven experience working with the technologies involved:
- Switching
- Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
- OSPF
- BGP
- Route Redistribution
- MPLS
- VRF
- VPC
- Cisco Nexus technologies
- FHRP
- Dynamic VPN
- SDWAN
- Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
- Switching
- Experience in network engineering, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS / NXOS and related technologies
- Good communication skills both spoken and written
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent team player.
Required Certifications:
- CCNP
