Job Description
NT Concepts is seeking a QlikView Developer to join our Business Intelligence team supporting a Washington, DC based DoD customer. The developer will work in conjunction with the team to elicit requirements, create business intelligence design and develop reports and dashboards. This position requires experience with QlikView design and development, Business Intelligence concepts, Data Architecture, and SQL is strongly desired. Ideal candidate must be a team player, process driven, self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BS in Computer Sciences or other engineering discipline or equivalent in experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience with QlikView (specifically design and development experience)
- 5 years Business Intelligence or related experience (will consider QlikView, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, or other Business Intelligence packages) is required
- 4+ years Database (Oracle, SQL Server 2000/2005) experience.
- Position requires 4+ years of experience in SQL programming (PL/SQL, T-SQL Programming).
- Experience in software configuration management a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing methodology is a plus.
- Experience in basic web development a plus.
- Must have strong business/technical oral and written communication skills
- Due to the work being performed in a Federal government facility and access restrictions, this position requires US Citizenship.
