Job Description
QlikView Developer (VA) VA-540-005-009
NT Concepts is seeking a QlikView Developer to join our on-site team in metro accessible Rosslyn, VA.
This role will be responsible for the following duties:
• Gathers and analyzes functional business application and design specification for functional activities. • Translates detailed design into necessary QlikView solutions.
• Designs, develops, troubleshoot, debugs, and implements dashboards/views, load scripts, SQL database loads, and software code as necessary.
• Tests, debugs and refines the dashboard designs to produce the required product.
• Prepares required documentation, including both program level and user level documentation.
• Enhances software to reduce operating time and to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or other engineering discipline or the equivalent in experience and education.
• Strong business/technical oral and written communication skills.
• This position requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience with QlikView (specifically design and development experience).
• Four (4) + years of Business Intelligence or related experience (to include: QlikView, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, or other Business Intelligence applications).
• 3+ years Database (Oracle, SQL Server 2000/2005) experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in SQL programming (PL/SQL, T-SQL Programming).
• Experience in software configuration management a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehousing methodology a plus.
• Experience in basic web development a plus.
