This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.
The selected candidate will support all aspects of hardware/software integration, test and support.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform integration and test of software/hardware components into a single system on the host environment.
- Work in development, lab, and operational environments. Integration and testing of a component in complex system in the appropriate environment.
- Perform integration, test and troubleshooting across multiple networks interfacing with customer SMEs.
- Ensure that through documentation is created and maintained at the level appropriate on any sell-off event and to allow others to integrate in the future.
- Facilitate collaboration with software developers, system engineers, hardware engineers, and integration/test engineers to diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software installation, integration, acceptance test, and operational events.
- Develop and execute installation, integration, and acceptance test procedures.
- Develop quality technical documentation.
- Submit detailed problem reports.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience.
- Active in-Scope, USG Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (Of note: SAP/PAR will be upgraded once selected candidate is in role. Therefore, candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain upgraded SAP/PAR.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II (or higher) compliant certification. Examples include: CCNA Security, Security+CE, CCNP, and CISSP. This certificate must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

- Active DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II (or higher) compliant certification. Examples include: CCNA Security, Security+CE, CCNP, and CISSP.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Rhel, Active Directory, VMware ESXi, Kubernetes & Docker containers.
- Basic knowledge of deployment of Microsoft Windows Server/Workstation and RHEL systems.
