Job Description

As a member of this dynamic team, you will work as the Safety Engineer to work on a passive safety electronics project. You must be able to define, lead, and support safety analyses. You will also be responsible for defining safety requirements for the systems and components and partner up with the entire engineering team to develop an effective solution for their implementation and validation. 

• Experience in electronic design (hardware and software) or system engineering is a preferred.
• Support and perform safety analyses on system hard and software 
• Establish functional safety and corresponding processes within the project and business unit
• Partner up with the design team to develop effective technical solutions to achieve adequate HW and SW architectural levels
• Customer and system requirements analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
• Minimum 1 year experience in systems, electronics or software design 
• Experience working in product development with a preferred focus on electronics and module design.
• Basic understanding of V-Model development approach and its implementation
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Experience with design analysis and modeling tools to perform electronics worst case circuit design analysis. Knowledge of laboratory tools for performing product analysis and testing.
• Knowledge of automotive electronics manufacturing processes preferred.
• Excellent communication skills verbally and written
• Able to work on a team and autonomously
