QA Engineer

Our Engineering team is seeking a QA Engineer to help our team build the tools and products that help millions of users improve their health through daily behavior modification. What You’ll Be Doing

• Work closely with one or more product teams to monitor and improve quality across all of our internal and external products, used by hundreds of coaches and hundreds of thousands of users daily. 
• You’ll work with our engineering teams to ensure that key features and product changes are built to spec and thoroughly tested before we release them to our coaches and users. 
• Improving post-launch quality by digging into bug reports, helping to focus our attention on the highest-impact issues affecting our users, and iterating on core quality processes within the QA Team and wider Engineering team to improve how we operate consistently.

What We’re Looking for

• 6+ years of experience in software QA and/or manual testing, specifically in test-planning and testing one or more of the following: native iOS apps, native Android apps, web apps, APIs/backend services
• A proven track record of designing and carrying out product/feature test plans resulting in an overall improvement in product quality
• Interest in being the primary advocate for end-to-end quality within the context of an Engineering team, working alongside members of the team to build quality further into the feature development pipeline
• Capacity to autonomously develop comprehensive test plans from product/feature docs, execute on these plans, and clearly communicate status/results to stakeholders across teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills overall; ability to clearly communicate about technical concepts; ability to thoughtfully defend one’s stance against disagreement or skepticism

Base Salary

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $155,000.
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
