Job Family Description

This position is a key on-site technical resource within Nokia’s Delivery and Operations Optics Manufacturing Team to provide support for transitioning from new product development to high-volume production. The Product Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the product designs are cost-effective and manufactured in high-volume, managing products through the manufacturing line, overall process improvement, as well as yield and WIP reporting.
 

As a Staff Product Engineer at Nokia, you will be a vital on-site technical resource within our Delivery and Operations Optics Manufacturing Team. You’ll champion the transition of innovative optical systems from development into high-volume production, collaborating closely with development, operations, and contract manufacturing teams. In this dynamic role, you will conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address field and production challenges. Additionally, you’ll report on product yields and work-in-progress positioning, leading initiatives to enhance process and product yield improvements, all while contributing to Nokia's mission of pioneering cutting-edge communication technology.
