SoC/FPGA Engineer
Location: Italy; Hybrid
The NOKIA Optics Subsystems group develops cutting-edge front-end technology for coherent optical transmission modules, enabling high-speed interconnects for data centers and supporting the growing demands of AI-driven applications. As the industry evolves, we are expanding our team to innovate and deliver next-generation transmission systems that meet the challenges of increasing bandwidth and efficiency.
Within Optics Subsystems, the System-on-Chip (SoC) team architects, designs, and tests advanced ASICs for optical modules. Our focus is on extending optical reach and transmission capacity while optimizing power and space requirements, leveraging the latest chip technologies to support the data center and AI revolution
