In Bell Labs, the OSDR (Optical systems and devices research) Lab focuses on research aiming to design optical transmission systems and networks of the future, which will connect cities, countries and continents while offering higher capacities at reduced cost and environmental impact.
As an intern at Bell Labs, you will get familiar with state-of-the-art research on advanced optical systems/DSP and take part to the development of next-gen optical communications. You will acquire an operational understanding of optical technologies and communications. You will be asked to work on high-speed system experiments through lab automation and advanced DSP.
