Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with a deep understanding of backend development using Node.js and a basic understanding of front-end technologies like React or Next.js. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system design, data structures, and algorithms, along with a deep understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of AWS services to support scalable and reliable infrastructure. Experience in leading a small team of developers is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Node.js
  • Frontend Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers and integrate back-end services with user interfaces built using React or Next.js
  • System Design: Architect and design complex systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. 
  • Data Structures & Algorithms: Apply deep knowledge of DSA to optimize backend and full-stack solutions. 
  • Database Management: Design, develop, and optimize relational database schemas and queries, with a focus on PostgreSQL or MySQL. 
  • AWS Services: Utilize AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) to build and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of up to 3 developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support. Manage workloads and priorities to ensure timely project delivery. 
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, promoting best practices in software development across the team. 
  • Security: Implement security best practices to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access across the stack. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality full-stack solutions. 
  • Debugging & Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address them in both backend and frontend environments. 
  • Documentation: Document code, APIs, database schemas, and architectural decisions to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing across the team. 

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of leading small teams and delivering complex projects. 

  • Technical Skills: 
  • Deep proficiency in Node.js
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, especially React or Next.js
  • Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL. 
  • Strong knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithms. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. 
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration. 

  • Leadership Skills: 
  • Experience leading a team of developers, with the ability to mentor, guide, and manage team dynamics. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience with microservices architecture. 
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization across the full stack.
