Product Design Intern - Nitro

Join Nitro's Product Design Team 
The Product Design Team at Nitro plays a key role in shaping user experiences that are intuitive, promote trust and simplify the jobs of our users. We are now seeking a Product Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced products designers, product managers, and engineers to contribute to the design of products that meet both user needs and business objectives.  
 
What you’ll do: 

• Collaborate with senior designers and product managers to design wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for new features and products 

• Assist in user research, collecting and analysing feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on user experiences. 

• Participate in ideation sessions and design critiques, providing and receiving feedback to improve design quality and collaboration. 

• Support the design team in creating and maintaining design documentation, style guides, and design system components. 

• Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs. 

What we’re looking for: 

• Examples of work you’ve done so far: including examples of wireframes, prototypes, creative projects and visual design work. 

• Basic understanding of UX principles and a passion for creating intuitive, user-centric interfaces. 

• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects with a proactive, problem-solving attitude. 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas clearly and collaborate effectively. 

• Experience with design tools such as Miro, Figma, FigJam or Adobe Creative Suite or similar 

• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and usability 

• Interest in learning more about the product design process and the technology industry as a whole
