We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager – R&D who is experienced, hands-on, and an excellent communicator to join our Project Management team in our Swedish office. In this role, you will lead complex, global projects in dialysis machine development—balancing technical challenges with strict timelines and budgets, while driving change management and harmonizing processes across regions.

About the role

You will play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of dialysis machine development projects, from concept to launch. This position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate global stakeholder alignment in a regulated environment.

How you will contribute

• Develop and execute detailed project plans and governance processes

• Manage dialysis machine projects through full lifecycle

• Act as primary contact for global stakeholders and ensure alignment

• Lead change management and harmonize processes across regions

• Oversee budgets and resource allocation for cost-effective delivery

What you bring to Nipro

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field

• 8–10 years of project management experience in medical devices or regulated industries

• Strong leadership and communication skills for global stakeholder management

• Expertise in risk management, budgeting, and process improvement

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and R&D environments

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record managing global, cross-functional projects

• Experience in medical device development and regulatory compliance

• Strong change management and process improvement expertise

• Advanced knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
