For Nipro Europe Group Companies, we are looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer who is experienced, hands-on, and communicative to join us in our IT & Digitalization team, based in our EMEA headquarters office in Mechelen, Belgium.
About the role
We are looking for a talented BI analyst/engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in setting up data warehouses/data lakes for data analysis and reporting.
As a BI analyst/developer, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to provide valuable insights that support decision-making within our organization.
The BI analyst/engineer will work closely together with the internal team, external partners and business end-users with respect to all data related topics. This also includes data integration tracks in various projects. The analyst likes to collaborate with local and international people and as such is able to understand and speak the business language as well as the technical language.
How you will contribute
Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.
Integrate various data sources and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize business insights.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
Document data processes and provide support for data-related queries.
Set up and monitor the necessary governance to bring changes/projects to production in a structured manner.
Provide occasional L3 support and assistance to key users, diagnose and resolve system issues in cooperation with the internal team and external partners.
Optimize the system usage
Manage internal knowledge base, ensuring proper documentation of the system changes according to the change management policy.
Perform all tasks in accordance with ISO and JSOX quality requirements and taking Nipro values into account.
What you bring to Nipro
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a BI analyst/engineer or in a similar role.
Knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
Experience with Azure, Snowflake, and PowerBI is a plus.
Experience with SAP data is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
You demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of ITSM processes (Incident management, Request fulfilment, Access Management, etc.)
Language: English is a must, any other language is a plus

You have good organization skills.
You have a proactive and out of the box mindset.
You demonstrate flexibility and mobility to optimize contact with the different business units and entities.
