Job Description

Based in the heart of North Sydney, at our brand-new purpose-built creative campus, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Creative Studio on a 12-month paternity leave cover. 

The Project Management team is part of Powered Studios, that sits within Powered. Powered is Nine’s Creative Solutions team, helping clients to realise big ideas in advertising across all of Nine’s ecosystem by experiencing the power of Collaboration, Creativity and Confidence. We have experts in content, client experience, strategy, creative, media production and marketing.

Day to day, we support the broadcast, digital, print and audio national agency and direct sales teams in responding to pitch work, responses and then fulfilling deliverables on Sold jobs.
The role is responsible for being the direct contact between sales and the Studios team. Working with varying stakeholders, no one day will be the same. From briefing in designers, booking in resource or working on timelines for articles. You are also responsible for quoting in the pitch stage, then managing budgets on sold work.

Work you’ll contribute to ranges from digital articles, long form, high impact print to cooking videos or social edits. Clients can be from Finance, Tech, Luxury, FMCG - the list goes on.
You take complete ownership over your campaigns, with support from the Head of Project Management.

Day to day you will: 

  • Be responsible for monitoring, tracking and communicating project progress
  • Be planning and coordinating project actions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Be responsible for clear and effective job costings (including initial budget quote and post analysis reconciliation by job) 
  • Booking design and development resource
  • Arranging and running creative brainstorms with various stakeholders
  • Entering jobs, tracking progress, quoting and booking resource within Monday.com

Qualifications

You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. You’ll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • You have minimum of 3 years experience working with varies stakeholders - content creators, designers and developers
  • A team player - enjoys working with different personalities and varying experiences levels. Feels comfortable to ask for help and work through solutions.
  • A problem solver, who enjoys finding the best solutions for the team and client
  • A strong communicator, taking responsibility of ensuring all stakeholders understand next steps and deliverables
  • Has an interest in integrating brands into content, digital, social, print, audio and broadcast.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Able to perform in a rapid, dynamic environment where critical thinking, agility, creativity and confidence are essential.
  • You are pro-active; improvement-oriented and demonstrate high levels of ownership and responsibility.
  • Open to different processes and able to adapt to change
  • Experience in workflow management tools
  • Experience in an agency or content environment (desirable)
  • Editorial or content production skills (desirable)
