Job Description
Nine is looking for a Programmatic Streaming Integrations Specialist to join our Commercial Programmatic team!
This entry-level technical role is perfect for a graduate or someone with up to one year of experience in ad operations, digital media, or a relevant technical field. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge ad tech, bridging the gap between technical platforms and commercial trading goals.
Day to day you will:
- Execute and QA technical changes related to ad delivery, including setting up new inventory, implementing ad policy updates, and managing deal/line item configurations.
- Monitor the performance and stability of header bidding/SSP mediation setups across all streaming platforms and assist in troubleshooting ad serving discrepancies, latency issues, and ad request errors in real-time.
- Manage and test Ad Server/SSP tags and configurations, and work closely with Product and Engineering to support the integration of new ad formats, features, or ad technology vendors.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all ad tech configurations and integrations, and assist the Analytics team by ensuring accurate data collection and availability from programmatic technology vendors.
- Contribute to yield management projects by providing technical insights into inventory performance and setup limitations.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- A strong interest and ability to quickly learn complex software platforms and technical workflows (e.g., APIs, JSON, SQL, basic HTML/JavaScript concepts).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to solving technical issues.
Desired but not essential:
- Professional experience in Ad Operations or a similar digital media technology role.
- Familiarity with an Ad Server interface (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Freewheel).
- Understanding of the basic mechanics of programmatic advertising (SSPs, DSPs, header bidding).
- Any exposure to Streaming TV or video ad serving.
