Job Description

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the larger Corporate Function’s Finance & Procurement Cloud Engineering team working on Finance domain. You will work day-to-day with the team of engineers, the team’s Product Managers and Principal Engineers which are located globally to help achieve business objectives. You will also engage with other Global Technology functions and teams on organizational and technical goals

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a thought leader who will work directly with capability aka product team to understand business needs. And help, lead, coach, and inspire a team of Software Engineers. We want someone with a background in software engineering and someone who has a background in modern software delivery principles/philosophies. The ideal candidate would also have a background in cloud native architecture and microservice design.

  • Experience leading teams in a highly collaborative environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree

  • 10+ years’ experience in technology & software engineering roles

  • Significant experience in software engineering, demonstrable knowledge of the set of roles, skills, activities, practices, tools, and deliverables applied at every phase of the software lifecycle

  • Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and related tools.

  • Experience with cloud platform like AWS / Azure

  • Experience with implementing and integrating AI, Machine Learning and related data solutions, along with ML OPS is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer-science fundamentals

  • Nice to have knowledge of open-source technologies and impact of build vs buy decisions in the area of data movement, enrichment, workflow, orchestration

  • Must be able to articulate and/or have experience with integration patterns, data movement and enrichment capabilities.

  • Must understand enterprise security and privacy requirements associated with the above technologies.

  • Proven experience collaborating on latest technologies with Engineers and Architects.

  • Extensive background in working with technical product teams

  • Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.

  • Proven communication and facilitation skills.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.

  • Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of Cloud Integration Engineers responsible for building and operating scalable applications and services that support the Finance & Procurement ecosystem.

  • Own the technical delivery of cloud-native integration solutions, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and platform standards.

  • Partner closely with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams to translate business needs into well-designed technical solutions.

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

  • Drive adoption of modern cloud engineering practices, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automated quality and security controls.

  • Guide the team on integration patterns, data movement, enrichment, orchestration, and workflow design across distributed systems.

  • Champion architectural best practices and contribute to technology decisions, including build vs. buy evaluations and adoption of open-source or managed cloud services.

  • Support the implementation and integration of AI/ML-powered solutions and data pipelines, in partnership with platform and data teams, where they add measurable business value.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented team culture focused on continuous improvement, learning, and rapid delivery.

  • Mentor and coach engineers, helping them grow their technical depth, leadership capabilities, and career progression.

  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements while maintaining high standards for performance and resiliency.

  • Drive all agile ceremonies, including, stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint refinement
