This role will be working as part of Geographies and Marketplace experiences (GAME) Global Technology organization. Within the organization this role will be part of Nike Stores team.

We serve Nike Stores Organization which is responsible for building next generation tools for Nike Owned and Partner B&M Stores. This includes Front of House –Point of Sale systems, Back of House – Athlete Productivity apps and Reporting, Store Inventory and fulfilment apps and Store Management systems. Our applications are used in 38 countries, and we serve 540M consumers and 46,000 athletes annually. We are in process of providing an unified and adaptive commerce experience and platform that serves consumers and store athletes globally across physical and cross-channel journeys at all Nike stores.

Lead Product Manager plays an integral part of the Global Technology team as Nike is focused on the Next % strategy. This position sits within India Technology Centre (ITC) reporting to Director of Product GAME ITC.

This role will be working closely with Store operations, Geo leads, Global Product Managers located in WHQ, EHQ, cross-functional partnering teams within and outside of ITC as well as with engineering teams on a daily basis.

We're looking for someone with 8+ years of experience in Product Management and clearly demonstrated these skills:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or combination of relevant education, experience

  • Experience working in Retail Point of Sale applications is a plus.

  • Experience working on UI/UX is a must, mobile UI/UX is a plus.

  • Experience working on Cloud platform with API knowledge is a good to have.

  • Strong Analytical and Data Visualization Skills

  • Great business acumen and communication skills

  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Prior experience owning experiences and platforms implemented on AWS Cloud, micros services architecture, domain event architecture.

  • Experience with Agile tools, confluence, Splunk, Miro/lucid chart, SQL, Tableau is a plus.

  • Validated ability to adapt to changing needs, processes, and ambiguity.

  • Strong meeting and work session facilitation skills

  • Solid grasp on Design Thinking Concepts and Design Leadership

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Lead Product Manager for Nike Stores,

  • This Role will focus on enhancing the in-store experience, integrating technology solutions, and implementing feedback mechanisms to continuously improve consumer satisfaction. Ultimately, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Nike Stores Globally.

  • Define and drive the roadmap and strategies to ensure it aligned with Nike’s CSR and AOP.

  • Be an advocate of solving the right problems for our store athletes as well as Nike consumers.

  • Execute the business product roadmap, prioritizing and planning the features based on the needs of the business.

  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance criteria and be the owner of the backlog.

  • Partner with engineering on design solutions and architectural decisions and advocate the technical directions and evaluate decisions and their impact on the business functionalities.

  • Work efficiently in Agile environment, regularly validate the completed stories and check with the business to ensure it meets business product expectation.

  • Track product features, performance metrics to ensure that the product is meeting or exceeding the targets, pivot the product roadmap direction as needed.

  • Track value drops delivered, product adoption, and execution against the end-to-end roadmap.

  • Great product sense and communicate effectively both verbally and written in a variety of settings and tailor communications to the target audience.

  • Influence others through optimism, self-assurance, and fact-based recommendations.
