The ideal candidate will be a footwear product expert who will work cross-functionally to brief, create and line plan in partnership with design, product development, merchandising, etc., in addition to external partners, to build pinnacle footwear for Nike. This person is an astute product professional, with a keen product eye, assertive nature, and strong business acumen. The ability to work in a highly matrixed organization, where relationship management and influencing skills are critical keys to success.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, demonstrates a high level of agility in response to evolving priorities, and is comfortable operating with flexibility and urgency. This role requires the ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis, including occasional short‑notice travel, to support key business needs, partnerships, and cultural moments.

  • A minimum of 8 years directly relevant work experience
  • Demonstrate excellent and creative consumer/marketplace understanding
  • Ability to demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of lifestyle footwear (tastes, habits, preferences, interests & behaviours)
  • An appreciation and understanding of macro/micro-culture, style, luxury, and streetwear
  • High taste level
  • Collaborative nature
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to operate with agility in a fast‑moving environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Experience working with external collaboration partners, including talent or entertainers, and navigating work at the intersection of brand, culture, and product

  • A strong connection to sport, culture, and creativity, with genuine excitement to contribute to Nike and be part of the Global Energy Footwear team

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

The Expert Product Line Manager will be responsible for leading a focused and intentional line of Global Energy Footwear. This role will own a clearly defined product scope, ensuring depth, clarity, and excellence across every stage of the footwear creation process.

The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on the Footwear Creation Process and calendar, aligning critical gates and dates across the Energy/Quick Strike calendars. This role will partner closely with Energy Marketing, Design, and Product Creation to develop footwear that ladders up to key cultural moments on the seasonal calendar, while also responding to ad‑hoc business needs as they arise.

The Expert Product Line Manager will brief, line plan, and lead their assigned Energy Footwear line end‑to‑end, collaborating closely with product creation, design, merchandising, and brand teams. This person will act as the internal footwear subject matter expert and spokesperson for their specific Energy footwear scope, including work developed in partnership with external collaborators and cultural talent.
