As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our Discover platform is concentrating on application convergence and migration from on-premises to cloud with latest UI technologies with Angular and backend services with Spring Boot technologies and leverage Jenkins to support things like CI/CD and integrations. Java 8 is primarily used to extend platform features along with continuing to adopt the best in class cloud-native, cloud-agnostic technologies.  

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding on CICD pipeline approach. 
• Experience working with CICD implementation for a microservices architecture. 
• Should have fundamental knowledge on Jenkins, GitHub and Atlassian tools. 
• Should possess advanced knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes and related concepts. 
• Strong knowledge in GIT practices. 
• Strong understanding in Linux/Unix. 
• Strong knowledge in Terraform to setup a product in Azure cloud environment. 
• Deep understanding of services in Azure cloud service providers. 
• Should have experience on gradle, maven and NPM builds. 
• Release management and onboarding new applications to Jenkins pipeline. 
• Enable automated builds for multiple application stack and integrate SonarQube, Snyk scan and quality tools with CI CD pipeline.  
• Should have knowledge on Datadog monitoring and dashboard setup. 

Qualifications

• Looking for 6 to 10 years of experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in DevOps, CI CD and Configuration management.  
• Intellectual curiosity, especially around emerging enterprise technologies 
• Critical thinking and problem-solving Risk assessment and issue analysis skills 
• Perform hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts and development and testing tasks as required in support of the implementation activities 
• Work with cross functional team actively in solution design and implementation 
• Prototyping new features and integrations aligned to business strategy by introducing innovation through technology. 
• Good Interpersonal Skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders’ partners of different backgrounds and in a multicultural environment 
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
