Vice President, Assistant Treasurer - Capital Markets

Activities and expectations:

• Reporting to Nielsen’s Treasurer, lead Nielsen’s Capital Markets function, including oversight of debt and credit facilities, debt investor relations, cash flow forecast, balance sheet forecast, financial risk management and pension investment oversight
• Manage Nielsen’s revolving credit facility and AR securitization facility
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders and rating agencies
• Effectively articulate Nielsen’s financial performance, technology roadmap and strategy in order to provide appropriate transparency and positioning to lenders
• Support quarterly financial result reporting to lenders, including developing key/critical themes and issues to be presented, working closely with the executive team to communicate strategies, drafting conference call scripts, decks and Q&A materials
• Partner with financial reporting, FP&A, legal, executive team members and private equity sponsor teams
• Track and provide insights to the executive team on key developments in Nielsen’s capital structure, liquidity facilities and lender community

Competencies/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, science, or related field with a strong academic record; MBA, CFA designation or equivalent experience preferred
• 10-15 years of experience in finance with prior treasury capital markets experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and deep understanding of capital markets
• Ability to develop constructive relationships with executives and colleagues across the organization
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated work style, attention to detail, effective communicator
• Experience working in a private equity owned company a plus
• Position can be hybrid in greater New York area or remote with regular travel to Nielsen’s NY office
