About the Role
- Seeking a solid and experienced mobile Android developer. This position requires a minimum 3 years of experience developing mobile Android apps and proven knowledge of network protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, Bluetooth. Strong knowledge of the Android platform and ecosystem, VPN and networking technologies is desired. In addition to development, this position will be helping shape the strategy for testing and deployment of our mobile apps across different markets. The successful candidate will be required to interact with other teams and work with product managers and business owners
Responsibilities
- Design and develop code for Nielsen’s mobile digital and audio measurement applicationsHelp drive alignment between different teams and different mobile appsImplement best practices across a team of developers and testers Deliver efficient, quality software, excellent mobile performance and experience for our mobile app usersStay on top of technology change, able to assess impact, able to offer solutions and innovate in the mobile measurement spaceDeploying to Google Play Store and monitoring the store stats for application health.Production support for the existing app in the store
