So, what’s the role all about?
Serve as a top-performing engineer, excelling in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software. Ensure all projects meet specified functional and non-functional requirements within given time and resource constraints.
How will you make an impact?
- Quick understanding of Product design, issues, improvement areas
- Design of software feature(s) per agreed architectures and requirements
- Test your code using Unit/System tests and automation
- Fix bugs and care about enterprise grade quality
- Participate in reviewing design and code for other team members
- Proactively contribute to process improvement activities
- Assist support-team to resolve production issues as quickly as possible
Have you got what it takes?
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (BE/BTech/MTech/MCA)
- Handson 5-6 years of software development experience with Java
- Software development experience in Java, Vue 3 JS, Linux,
- Tools like Maven, Git, Ant
- Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Core JAVA proficiency: OOPs, Collections, IO Streams, exceptions handling, etc.
- Java Framework: At least one such framework as spring-boot
- Database Skills – Oracle, MS SQL Server, Cassandra, PostgreSQL
- A comprehensive familiarity and proven experience in OOD/OOP
- Experience working on resolving scalability / performance issues will be an added advantage.
- Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools.
- Excellent spoken/written English. Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
- Work as part of the development team towards the application. Adhere and contribute to software best engineering practices.
- Proactive and proven ability to tackle projects with a can-do attitude
- Proven experience in operating within a global environment
- Passion to learn new technologies, perform hands on POCs
- Ability to quickly switch from feature development to product support -L4
- Ability to quickly switch to alternative technology frameworks as and when needed
- Experience in high performance, highly available and scalable systems
Qualifications - Desired:
- Fraud Domain knowledge will be added advantage
- Experience with Microservices, docker containers running on Kubernetes.
