Senior Professional Services Engineer, Actimize

So, what’s the role all about?

Developer administers, test, and implement databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes to computer databases. Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.

How will you make an impact?

• Work as a member of the Agile team to enhance & Improve software.
• Communicate with client on the enhancement requirement analysis and work accordingly on the enhancement development.
• Provide technical leadership across the development teams in your functional area.
• Be hands on & provide in-depth technical understanding of Cloud Software architecture.
• Be accountable, for deliverables ensuring the quality of each release by recommending & implementing best quality engineering practices are followed including (but not limited to): writing and running of unit tests, smoke- and regression- test automation, code reviews, and design practices.
• Work with Architect / BA and set the end-to-end technical direction for the team, including platform, technology, tools, and infrastructure.

 Have you got what it takes?

• 4 to 7 years’ years of experience in software development
• Complete knowledge of SDLC
• 3+ years leading a high performing team in an agile based software product development environment.
• Experience in database development with SQL databases
• Experience in high performance, highly available and scalable system
• Experience developing and supporting hosted and/or multi-tenant software delivered as-a-Service (SaaS).
• Deep Knowledge and experience with software design patterns and how they can be incorporated into software design.
• Familiarity and/or experience with private and public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Engine or Azure.
• Experience with iterative or Agile methodologies, techniques, and Scrum
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, VMs, Kubernetes, Artifactory and SALT
• Familiarity with Security systems and practices (SAML, Oauth, JWT)
• Familiarity with Directory services and Single Sign On 
• Flexible to work in client required time zone / shifts and weekend if the need arises.
