Engineer II, Template Developer

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain NextGen templates for healthcare specialty clinical content.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure templates meet project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Optimize v templates for performance and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NextGen template functionality and compatibility.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure NextGen templates are modern and efficient.
• Maintain documentation for development changes following internal tracking process.
• Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Computer Science, SQL Development, or a related field
• Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:

• 2-4 years experience as a Template Developer or similar role.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and other relevant web technologies is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of: Strong understanding of NextGen Template Editor and MS-SQL Programming. Microsoft development tools. (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SSMS). Fundamental knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.
• Skill in: Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork.  Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Ability to: Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
