You will be responsible for facilitating seamless collaboration between these C-level executives, internal stakeholders, external partners, and the broader organization, ensuring the efficient and timely execution of key initiatives.

Your ability to synthesize diverse information, make informed decisions with clarity, and manage rapidly shifting priorities is crucial. This role requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and able to navigate the dynamic nature of executive schedules and organizational changes with precision and composure.

At Nextdoor, we offer a warm and inclusive work environment that embraces a hybrid employment experience, providing a flexible experience for our valued employees.

The Impact You’ll Make

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive self-starter with an optimistic, can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for Nextdoor's mission. This role is set in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment. You will have the opportunity to significantly impact the work of our CTO and Head of Design, helping drive key initiatives within our product development organization.

This role is based at our San Francisco HQ, with an in-office presence expected from Tuesday to Thursday each week, or as otherwise agreed upon with your manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

Administrative Oversight

  • Calendar Management: Effectively manage and prioritize the demanding and often shifting calendars of the CTO and Head of Design, coordinating both internal and external meetings with employees, vendors, and customers. Proactively anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts to optimize their time
  • Meeting Participation: Collaborate in key meetings by supporting discussions and follow-ups. Provide logistical and operational support, ensuring alignment with the broader goals of the executives
  • Confidential Information Handling: Maintain discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive information, ensuring trust and security in all dealings
  • Travel Coordination and Expense Management: Organize detailed travel itineraries that align with leadership’s objectives and ensure smooth logistics. Handle expense reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies

Strategic work including:

  • Event Planning and Coordination: Support the planning and execution of critical events, including all-hands meetings, leadership offsites, and team-building activities. Ensure seamless internal and external coordination
  • Project Tracking: Track progress on important projects and initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and momentum
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners. Facilitate effective communication and ensure the CTO and Head of Design are connected with the right people at the right time
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Take on special tasks and projects as requested by the CTO, Head of Design, or your manager, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 7+ years of experience supporting a senior executive, preferably in a high paced tech environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through on tasks
  • Proficiency in Google Productivity Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides, Sheets); experience with Coda and Workday is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with internal and external partners
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable to a rapidly changing work environment
  • Proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

As a student navigating the job market, I've found LinkedIn increasingly frustrating due to numerous fake postings by consultancies. In contrast, this job posting website has been a game-changer for me. It offers genuine opportunities and a straightforward application process, making it much easier to find and apply for real jobs. Highly recommend it to fellow students seeking reliable job listings!

Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet. But if it could show remote only, that would be helpful not only to me but to other people applying for full remote and not tied to only US candidates

I found EchoJobs in 2022, and I love it. It has a lot of remote jobs. It's exclusive to software and technology jobs (helpful for devs like me). What I like the most are its filters and its API. If you're a tech professional seeking remote work, I highly recommend giving it a try to EchoJobs.

Simply put, it's the most up to date tech jobs aggregator I’ve found. I'm like... "I don't have to check 10+ jobs boards daily just to see if there's a new job listing? sign me up!" The filters are also quite helpful! The UI is very clean and straightforward. Love it!
