This is a fully office-based role and requires you to be based in Leicestershire, with attendance in the office five days a week.

What You Will Do

  • Use SQL/T-SQL to query, transform, analyse and optimise complex operational and financial datasets.

  • Use Databricks to interrogate and investigate data to provide valuable insights for our retails and stock operations.

  • Develop Power BI reporting to provide key insights to our Partners

  • Structure data to support high-performing Power BI solutions, with a strong understanding of DAX and data modelling.

  • Develop and maintain data quality, validation and governance processes to ensure reporting is accurate and trusted.

  • Define KPIs and reporting requirements with Finance and operational stakeholders.

  • Analyse performance, investigate variances and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories and recommendations that influence business decisions.

  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support key operational events and priorities.

  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Retail and other analytical teams to improve reporting and analytical processes.

What You Will Bring

Essential

  • Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills, with the ability to write, optimise and debug complex queries and work with large datasets.

  • Experience creating reliable, scalable data solutions for reporting and analytical consumption.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable business insight.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to senior and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of solutions from requirements through to delivery.

  • Experience working in a large-scale operational environment.

  • Experience with Databricks Workflows/Jobs and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
