Why This Role Is Right for You
As a Senior Backend Engineer you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Stockholm.
Together, we’re building services and integrations that enable agentic commerce and create real impact for our merchants and partners! Enabling experiences like users purchasing products in ChatGPT/Gemini/etc and merchant admins chatting with their back office platform for reporting, that's what we're building!
You’ll fit right in if you:
- Are experimenting with AI tools and approaches
- Have built and scaled apps from idea to production
Enjoy driving initiatives across the SDLC from analysis to scale
- Have experience working in a distributed team
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Work in an area that is still taking shape across the industry
- Build services, APIs, and integrations that enable agentic commerce e.g. a service that performs the trust and identity verification for agents
- Translate rapidly evolving protocols and standards into production capabilities e.g. UCP, AP2, VI
Collaborate closely within our agile team and wider company
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone eager to make a difference. Here’s what we value:
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong backend engineering experience, comfortable shipping APIs and integration heavy services
Experience designing distributed systems, familiarity with their failure modes, etc.
Experience owning high-availability systems
- Experience shipping with security by design
- Strong communication skills
- Experience or willingness to join on-call rotations
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with the Azure stack
- Payments, PSP, or commerce domain experience
