Engineer I - AIT (P07371)
Location: Chandigarh, India
Department: Gryphon
Experience: 2-4
- Participate in UAV assembly processes, following engineering specifications and assembly procedures, ensuring integration of propulsion systems, avionics, and control systems.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble wire harnesses, perform soldering and crimping of connectors as required.
- He should have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the handling and integration of components, including propulsion systems such as electric, internal combustion (ICE), and jet engines, as well as airspeed sensors, GPS systems, autopilots, servo systems, and communication modules.
- Assist the team in rig testing activities, including setup, execution, and data collection.
- Actively engage in field testing setup, flight tests, transporting the UAV to the test field, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility with scheduling.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout assembly, integration, and testing phases.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assembly procedures, integration processes, and test results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives in the Assembly and Integration process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and efficiency in UAV production.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in UAV assembly, integration, and testing.
- Preference will be afforded to candidates who possess prior experience working with Fixed Wing VTOL Systems.
- Proficiency in assembly, integration, and testing techniques for UAV systems.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and flight controls.
- Hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and techniques used in UAV assembly and testing.
- Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate understanding of various protocols such as Serial, I2C, UART and CAN.
- Prior experience with UAV regulations, standards, and certification processes is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a team environment.
- B.Tech/BE in the field of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Aeronautics or Equivalent and have at least 2 years of Experience working in the Aviation Sector.
