Identity (IAM) Tech Lead Engineer

Location: Tel Aviv (IL)

Description

We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to help build the future of identity security.

You'll play a key role in shaping our architecture, technical direction, and engineering culture while remaining hands-on and deeply involved in building the product. This role combines technical leadership, architecture ownership, and team mentorship.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to help scale both the platform and the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of core platform services and infrastructure.
• Design scalable microservices and APIs using Python and Go.
• Drive technical architecture and engineering best practices across the team.
• Mentor engineers and help grow technical talent within the organization.
• Own projects end-to-end, from early design discussions through production deployment.
• Work across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Security teams to deliver customer-facing capabilities.
• Help define the long-term technical roadmap of the company.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with a strong backend focus.
• Significant experience in the Identity, IAM, or broader cybersecurity domain.
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical groups.
• Strong expertise in Python and Go.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience building highly scalable and highly available systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and modern data platforms such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership and drive execution.
