About this role

We are looking for a Senior QC Engineer with multiple years of experience to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cybersecurity solution. The ideal candidate will orchestrate test tasks, develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios, and leverage their test systems and automation expertise to streamline our QA processes.
 

Responsibilities

  • Management of the test environment
  • Management of test cases
  • Writing new test cases
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure the quality and functionality of our solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to identify test requirements and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Utilize test automation frameworks and tools to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues on time.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

 

What does a good fit look like?

  • Structured work ethic
  • Certifications in testing (istqb-test engineer, ...)**
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on software testing
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL**
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Robot)
  • Knowledge of mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms
  • Familiarity with Flutter for cross-platform mobile development**
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities - especially in an agile environment

 What does success in your role look like?

  • Effective Test Coverage: Success would entail ensuring comprehensive test coverage across all software products, including web, mobile, and cross-platform applications. This involves developing thorough test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to identify potential defects and ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
  • Efficient Test Automation: The Senior QC Engineer would achieve success by leveraging their expertise in test automation to automate repetitive test cases and tasks, thereby improving testing efficiency and reducing manual effort. Success in this area would involve implementing robust test automation frameworks and tools and successfully executing automated test suites.
  • Timely Defect Resolution: Success would be demonstrated by the ability to identify defects early in the development lifecycle, analyze test results effectively, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. The Senior QC Engineer would be key in facilitating communication and coordination between QA and development teams to ensure defects are addressed promptly.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Success would involve actively contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. This includes identifying areas for optimization, implementing best practices, and exploring new tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities and efficiency. The Senior QC Engineer would be proactive in driving process improvements and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Effective Collaboration: Success would be demonstrated by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers. The Senior QC Engineer would actively participate in team meetings, provide valuable insights and feedback, and work collaboratively towards common goals. Success in this area would contribute to the overall success of the development team and the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
