We are looking for a highly motivated, positive, and organized individual to join our Professional Services team as a Senior Systems Engineer. What You Will Do:
Implementation is where visions become reality and software becomes a solution. The Professional Services team has the privilege and critical opportunity to cement relationships with new customers and build on relationships for those customers who’ve expanded their software investment with us. The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for working with Netwrix’s customers to implement Netwrix’s award-winning software in their environments. A person in this role:
- Acquires, maintains, and expands subject matter expertise in Netwrix’s software and the broad array of platforms it helps to protect.
- Embodies Netwrix’s values as an ambassador to Netwrix’s customers and prospects, and ensures a successful delivery project leveraging Netwrix’s Deployment Methodology.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to Netwrix’s customers, working with client, channel partner, and internal stakeholders as necessary to identify & understand technical and security problems facing them, and offers solutions for how to tackle them using Netwrix’s growing portfolio of software solutions.
- Works on projects of different sizes and complexities in parallel, some as part of a 2-3 person delivery team and others with relative autonomy. Keeps project stakeholders proactively informed of agendas, progress, and outcomes.
- Works as an extension of our technical support team, as necessary.
- Values organization, is team-oriented and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks based on deadlines and urgency/impact
- Is energized by the challenge of planning, designing, building, executing, and perform knowledge transfer on custom reports, workflows, and integrations that enhance the value of the software for Netwrix’s customers
- Provides constructive feedback to the Netwrix product team in the form of feature suggestions to improve end user experience, qualified problem tickets related to issues encountered in the field, and feedback on internal preview releases during training and other retrospective opportunities.
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- B.A./B.S. degree or higher or equivalent industry experience
- A minimum of two years of experience supporting and/or implementing software applications
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Active Directory
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with logic/scripting/programming, especially
- Knowledge of database concepts or database administration (esp. MS SQL Server) and proficiency with T-SQL
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or similar
- Experience with REST APIs
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, File Systems, LDAP-based directories, network protocols, cloud-based applications (esp. those offered in Microsoft 365 Suite)
- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace
- Experience working with PAM solutions.
Additional Positive Criteria:
- Familiarity with basic change control concepts and appreciation for technical documentation
- Privacy and security enthusiast, having basic familiarity with data protection regulations like EU GDPR and CCPA
- Experience with Antivirus/Antimalware tools
- Understanding of UNIX/Linux platforms
- Experience with analysis tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
- Experience with virtualization software (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience with web development & administration
- Helpful/Common Certifications (not required and not specifically endorsed by Netwrix)
- MCSA
- CompTIA A+, Security+, Server+, Project+, Cybersecurity+
- CISSP
- CISM
- PMP
