Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer with a proven track record in software engineering and a deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (AI/ML) techniques to support an exciting new AI and Emerging Technologies (AI&ET) mission. In this role, you will work closely with mission stakeholders to capture requirements, aid in structured planning, and improve processes by introducing AI/ML tooling. Additionally, you will use AI/ML to develop tools and techniques to include fine tuning Large Language Models (LLM) that assist in enhanced identification and mitigation capabilities. The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrable experience designing, developing, and maintaining LLM orchestration frameworks; experience developing and optimizing data for LLM consumption; and have strong proficiency working in Python. Required Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable are a Doctoral degree (PH.D.) and four (4) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and six (6) years, or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience. 
• Strong proficiency with object-oriented languages like Python.
• Experience with LLM integration and data engineering. 
• Experience with static analyzers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework, and relational and vector databases.
• Familiarization with Agile, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Must be capable of working with systems engineers to architect and deploy networked AI tools within secure enclaves and conduct performance profiling, optimization, and scalability analysis of mission systems.
• Must be capable of supporting security assessments and authority to operate (ATO) processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with RUST, Claude Code, Codex, and Continuous
• Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
