Job Description

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

At Netflix, we want to entertain the world and are constantly innovating on how entertainment is imagined, created, and delivered to a global audience. Engineering teams within Netflix work hard every day to scale and innovate content production and member experiences in an ever-growing complex software landscape.

Our Content & Business Products (CBP) Engineering teams build the products and services to optimize and automate the content creation process including content planning, financing, production, promotion, and distribution. We support Netflix's enterprise needs including Finance, Talent, Tech Support, and Customer Support to ensure smooth operations. Our products enable the entire workflow of content production, from pitch to play, and provide innovative new ways to develop and manage entertainment at scale. The team’s work is critical to supporting the creation of movies and TV series that will thrill the world!

Job Summary

In this role, you will evolve the Studio Orchestrator platform to better serve our content production partners in the live action, animation and visual effects domains. This will involve extending the platform’s capabilities and integrating it with the digital content creation (DCC) tools commonly used in the professional VFX and animation industry (Nuke, Maya, Photoshop, etc.), as well as asset management systems and various data storage platforms.

About the Studio Orchestrator Team

The Studio Orchestrator Team develops and operates a robust platform designed for building media workflows and pipeline-backed production tools. This platform provides core building blocks and built-in content security, so that pipeline builders can focus on solving production problems rather than managing infrastructure. Currently, this platform is foundational to managing and transforming hundreds of petabytes of footage, integrating GenAI and ML model capabilities into content production, and powering Netflix's animation and visual effects initiatives.
