The Ecosystem Solutions team builds tools that help people around the world integrate their technology with the Netflix platform quickly and with the highest quality. Some of the integrations we support are Netflix Streaming, Payment, Content Discovery, and Game experiences. The results of our work can be seen around the world by hundreds of millions of Netflix members… and that number is growing every day.

We would like to find a leader who can help us build our Partner Core Components team in São Paulo.

What are “Partner Core Components?” As we have deployed more and more “partner facing” products (like the Netflix application on Smart TVs, payment integrations, voice integrations, and our mobile game SDK), we’ve noticed that there are many similarities in the tools we’ve built to support them. We are looking for a leader who can help us build a team to take the best of the capabilities from each of our tools and turn them into a set of common capabilities that can be used across our engineering teams and across our portfolio of over 60 internal and external products.

The best candidate will be truly excited by the prospect of designing and building the common components that will allow us to continue the rapid growth of our portfolio; which underpins integration, certification, and monitoring the experience for Netflix integrations across 500+ partners and over 1800 different device types (most likely including the TV sitting in your living room right now!). 

A proven leader and a humble, personable self-starter with broad technical skills will be successful in this role. Technical Requirements:

• You have 7+ years of experience in either technology operations or engineering

• You have 5+ years of leadership experience in cloud engineering, application development, full-stack engineering, or front-end development

• You are passionate about building capabilities and shared components (front end or back end) to make other engineers more productive

• You have deep experience recruiting, hiring, and leading top-talent

• You have strong English language skills and have experience working with English-speaking teams and stakeholders

• You have experience with common Javascript full-stack tooling like ReactJS and NodeJS, as well as Java Spring Boot.

• You have knowledge of cloud computing platforms, like Amazon Web Services or Azure

• You have experience deploying and operating high-availability RESTful or GraphQL services.

• You have experience owning delivery roadmaps and leading teams that deliver what they promise 

Other Skills of Interest:

• You have experience working in mobile or consumer device development

• You have experience working with game developers or in-game development

• You have experience working with payment processing systems

• You have experience with the delivery of audio or video content
